Menedżer City nie ma wątpliwości. „Nie za mojego życia”

Przed dzisiejszym hitem Premier League, dziennikarze porównują sytuację Manchesteru City i Liverpoolu FC. W jednym aspekcie, Obywatele zostawiają The Reds daleko w tyle.

Dla Manchesteru City sezon 2024/2025 jest już przegrany. Obywatele właśnie odpadli z Ligi Mistrzów po dwumeczu z Realem Madryt, zaś w Premier League The Citizens tracą już 17 punktów do lidera Liverpoolu!

Przed starciem na Etihad Stadium, wciąż panujący mistrzowie Anglii muszą uważać, bo w tabeli Premier League zajmują 4. miejsce, ale za ich plecami usadowiła się już grupa pościgowa w postaci Bournemouth AFC, Chelsea FC, Aston Villi FC, Newcastle United i Brighton&Hove Albion.

Na dzień dzisiejszy absolutnie nic nie przemawia za MC w rywalizacji z LFC, ale jest jedna statystyka, w której The Reds wciąż daleko do drużyny Pepa Guardioli. Chodzi rzecz jasna o cztery tytuły mistrzowskie z rzędu oraz historyczne 100 punktów, które City wywalczyło w sezonie 2017/2018.

– Nikt nie wygra ligi z dorobkiem 100 punktów oraz nie wywalczy czterech tytułów mistrzowskich z rzędu. Przepraszam, ale nie stanie się to za mojego życia – przyznał hiszpański menedżer w rozmowie ze Sky Sports.
