De Bruyne odchodzi z City! Wielka strata dla Manchesteru

Kevin De Bruyne odejdzie z Manchesteru City po zakończeniu sezonu. Belg ogłosił swoją decyzję w mediach społecznościowych.

Przyszłość De Bruyne stała pod znakiem zapytania już od dłuższego czasu. Wszystko przez wygasający wraz z końcem czerwca kontrakt i brak postępu w negocjacjach.

Teraz już wiadomo, że umowa na pewno nie zostanie przedłużona, a piłkarz po 10 latach opuści szeregi Manchesteru City.

– Czy nam się to podoba, czy nie, nadszedł czas, by się pożegnać – napisał 33-letni pomocnik w oświadczeniu. – To będą moje ostatnie miesiące jako zawodnik Manchesteru City – dodał.

– Piłka nożna zaprowadziła mnie do Was wszystkich – i do tego miasta. Goniąc za swoim marzeniem, nie wiedząc, że ten okres zmieni moje życie. To miasto. Ten klub. Ci ludzie… dali mi WSZYSTKO. Nie miałem wyboru, musiałem oddać WSZYSTKO w zamian! I zgadnijcie co – wygraliśmy WSZYSTKO – przypomniał.

De Bruyne występuje w barwach Manchesteru City od 2015 roku. W ciągu dekady spędzonej na Etihad rozegrał dla The Citizens 413 meczów, strzelił 106 goli i zanotował 174 asysty.

To wielka strata dla Obywateli. KDB jest żywą legendą klubu z błękitnej części Manchesteru i jednym z najlepszych zawodników, jeśli nie najlepszym, złotej ery klubu pod wodzą Pepa Guardioli.

Lista jego sukcesów i osiągnięć jest naprawdę długa. Sześciokrotny mistrz Anglii, triumfator Ligi Mistrzów, dwukrotnie został też wybranym Piłkarzem Roku w Anglii.

Co dalej? De Bruyne czekają przenosiny do nowego klubu. Według nieoficjalnych informacji angielskich mediów, Belg pragnąłby kontynuować swoją karierę w USA.
