Zlicytują Stamford Bridge

   Chelsea ma wciąż nadzieję, iż znajdzie się chętny na kupno praw do nazwy obiektu – Stamford Bridge. Szefowie klubu wycenili taką usługę na 100 milionów funtów w ciągu 10 lat. Rozmowy z potencjalnymi kontrahentami prowadzone są przez dyrektora generalnego Rona Gourlaya od prawie 17 miesięcy.
   Chelsea szuka gotówki, aby móc spełnić wymagania UEFA, które zakładają minimalne zadłużenie i ograniczone wydatki dla klubów, które chcą uczestniczyć w rozgrywkach na arenie międzynarodowej. Mają one wejść w życie za dwa lata. W sprawozdaniu finansowym opublikowanym w styczniu klub ze Stamford Bridge wykazał deficyt w wysokości 70 milionów funtów. Od tego jednak momentu wydał na Fernando Torresa i Davida Luiza o 5 milionów więcej.
   Ewentualny kontrakt na zmianę nazwy obiektu pozwoliłby podreperować budżet klubu, który zarabia przecież na biletach znacznie mniej niż posiadające o wiele większą pojemność Arsenal i Manchester United.
