Euro 2012: Napastnik Fulham wraca do angielskiej kadry

Napastnik Fulham, Bobby Zamora znalazł się w kadrze Anglii na najbliższy mecz eliminacji do Euro 2012 ze Szwajcarią, który rozegrany zostanie na Wembley. Zastąpił on w składzie pauzującego Wayne’a Rooneya.

Zamora w grupie 26 powołanych przez Fabio Capello zawodników wśród graczy linii ataku znalazł się obok Darrena Benta, Petera Croucha i Jermaina Defoe.

O miejsce w bramce z pierwszym golkiperem „Synów Albionu”, Joe Hartem, powalczą tym razem Scott Carson i David Stockdale. W linii obrony po raz pierwszy w tym roku może pojawić się Rio Ferdinand, który najprawdopodobniej na środku defensywy dołączy do Johna Terry’ego, w linii pomocy szansę może z kolei otrzymać inny z graczy nowego mistrza Anglii – Michael Carrick.
