„Czerwone Diabły” nie przedłużą kontraktu z Hargreavesem

Owen Hargreaves po czterech sezonach spędzonych na Old Trafford odchodzi z Manchesteru United. Jak poinformował sir Alex Ferguson, wygasający po zakończeniu obecnego sezonu kontrakt byłego reprezentanta Anglii nie zostanie przedłużony.

Hargreaves trafił do angielskiego zespołi w 2007 roku z Bayernu Monachium za około 17 mln funtów. NIeustanne problemy zdrowotne spowodowały, że w ciągu czterech lat piłkarz wystąpił w zaledwie 39 spotkaniach „Czerwonych Diabłów”

– To była niezwykle trudna decyzja. Byłem świadkiem tego, jak ciężko pracował, by dojść do pełnej sprawności. Mam nadzieję, że uda mu się powrócić na boisko i zabłysnąć w innym zespole – powiedział sir Alex Ferguson.
