Szczęsny: Każdy mecz jest dla mnie szansą

Wojciech Szczęsny cieszy się z możliwości gry w podstawowym składzie Arsenalu zapewniając jednocześnie, iż każde spotkanie traktuje jako wielką szansę na pokazanie swoich umiejętności.

Pod nieobecność kontuzjowanych Łukasza Fabiańskiego oraz Manuela Almunii to Szczęsny dzierży bluzę z numerem 1 w ekipie Kanonierów. – Każdy kolejny mecz traktuję bardzo poważnie. To dla mnie znakomita okazja na pokazanie klasy. Zawsze pragnę dawać z siebie wszystko. Menedżer wierzy we mnie, więc myślę, że jestem gotowy. Staram się to udowodnić za każdym razem, kiedy otrzymam okazję do gry – przyznał 20-letni golkiper.

– Ostatnio nie tracimy zbyt wiele bramek. Radzimy sobie całkiem dobrze w Premier League. Chcemy to kontynuować, tracąc jak najmniej goli – dodał Szczęsny. Polak w środę znów stanie w bramce Arsenalu, w rewanżowym meczu Pucharu Anglii przeciwko Leeds United. – Na tamtym stadionie jest zawsze głośno, lubię taką atmosferę. To dodaje pewności siebie i pomaga się skoncentrować. Cieszę się na myśl o meczach rozgrywanych na dużych obiektach, z pełnymi trybunami – podsumował bramkarz zespołu z Emirates Stadium.
