Pojawił się nowy kandydat do zastąpienia Erika ten Haga. To trener innego klubu Premier League

Po bardzo przeciętnym początku tego sezonu Premier League coraz częściej mówi się o ewentualnym odejściu Erika ten Haga z Manchesteru United.

Podopieczni holenderskiego szkoleniowca na ten moment zajmują dopiero 13. miejsce w ligowej tabeli angielskiej ekstraklasy. Zdecydowanie jest to wynik poniżej oczekiwań wszystkich osób związanych z czerwoną częścią Manchesteru.

Z tego powodu sytuacja 54-letniego Holendra stała się coraz bardziej niepewna. Ostatnio donosiliśmy, że jednym z kandydatów do przejęcia sterów w przypadku zwolnienia Ten Haga ma być były selekcjoner reprezentacji Anglii, Gareth Southgate.

Dzisiaj angielska prasa przekazała informacje o nowym nazwisku. Zdaniem dziennikarza Duncana Castelsa, na celownik władz Czerwonych Diabłów trafił również Marco Silva, który obecnie pracuje w Fulham.

Portugalski menedżer w Anglii pracuje nieprzerwanie od maja 2017 roku. Objął wówczas ekipę Hull City. Kolejnym jego przystankiem była drużyna Watford, z której natomiast przeniósł się do Evertonu.

47-latek na stadionie Fulham zarządza z kolei od lipca 2021 roku. Podczas swojego debiutanckiego sezonu wprowadził The Cottagers do elity. W ostatnich latach ustabilizował poziom zespołu i spokojnie utrzymuje go w najwyższej klasie rozgrywkowej.
