Podstawowy obrońca na dłużej w klubie Premier League

Szwajcarski środkowy obrońca przedłużył kontrakt z klubem Premier League. Nowa umowa 33-latka z Newcastle United obowiązuje do końca sezonu 2025/26.

Fabian Schar trafił do Newcastle w połowie 2018 roku, z Deportivo La Coruna. Ogółem 86-krotny reprezentant Szwajcarii rozegrał 221 spotkań w barwach Srok, zdobył 19 bramek i miał 8 asyst. Ostatnio sięgnął po Puchar Ligi Angielskiej.

W obecnym sezonie podstawowy stoper wystąpił 33 razy, strzelił 4 gole i raz asystował (2838 minut).

Wcześniej zdobył trzy mistrzostwa Szwajcarii z FC Basel. Był też piłkarzem np. Hoffenheim. (MZ)
