Oficjalnie. Polak przedłużył kontrakt z Aston Villą

Aston Villa poinformowała, że Oliwier Zych, 20-letni bramkarz, podpisał nowy kontrakt z angielskim klubem.

Zych dołączył do Villi latem 2020 roku (wcześniej Arka Gdynia i Zagłębie Lubin), a potem zdobył z nią juniorski Puchar Anglii (2021).

Miniony sezon spędził na wypożyczeniu w Puszczy Niepołomice, w barwach której zagrał 26 meczów w Ekstraklasie, zachowując 7 czystych kont.

W połowie br. został powołany do reprezentacji Polski na zgrupowanie przed EURO 2024 i miał wybrać się na wielki turniej jako dodatkowy bramkarz, ale ostatecznie do tego nie doszło, gdyż doznał kontuzji w debiucie w kadrze U-21.

W trwającym sezonie Zych wystąpił cztery razy w Aston Villi U-21. (MZ)
