Niebawem wyjaśni się przyszłość Mikela Artety. Wiadomo, co zrobi

Mikel Arteta podpisze niebawem nowy, długoterminowy kontrakt z Arsenalem. Strony są zadowolone z efektów dotychczasowej współpracy i chcą ją kontynuować.

Hiszpan prowadzi drużynę od grudnia 2019 roku. Z 232 meczów 141 wygrał, 34 zremisował, a 57 przegrał. Przeistoczył Kanonierów z ekipy niepotrafiącej zakwalifikować się do Ligi Mistrzów w zespół rywalizujący o mistrzostwo Anglii, czego konsekwencją były dwa wicemistrzostwa. Zdobył też Puchar Anglii.

Umowa wiążąca ze sobą obie strony obowiązuje tylko do końca czerwca 2025 roku. Do rozstania wówczas jednak nie dojdzie.

Arteta był pytany o przedłużenie kontraktu wielokrotnie, ale odpowiadał, że nie ma pośpiechu i wszystko nastąpi w swoim czasie. Ten czas niebawem nadejdzie.

Dziennikarze Sky Sports informują bowiem, że Hiszpan podpisze niedługo nową, długoterminową umowę. Jego era na Emirates Stadium będzie trwać. (MS)
