Guardiola nie chce się poddawać. Hiszpan zapowiada walkę o wyjście z kryzysu

W dobie potężnego kryzysu jaki trawi Manchester City, pojawiło się mnóstwo wątpliwości o dalszą pracę Pepa Guardioli w City. Hiszpan na konferencji prasowej zapowiedział walkę o wyjście na prostą.

Takiego kryzysu w nowej historii Manchesteru City jeszcze nie było. Na 12 rozegranych spotkań wygrali tylko jeden i znaczną część przegrali. Już teraz „Obywatele” spadli poza czołową czwórkę Premier League i nie wydaje się, aby prędko naprawili swą sytuację.

Dużo mówiło się o dalszej pracy Pepa Guardioli, który nie tak dawno złożył podpis pod nowym kontraktem. Trudno sobie wyobrazić aby klub go nagle zwolnił, więc pojawiły się spekulacje, że Pep sam zrezygnuje z tej funkcji.

Na konferencji prasowej trener City dał jednak do zrozumienia, że nie zamierza opuszczać tonącego okrętu i będzie walczył o to, by wyprowadzić City na prostą.

– Czasami zła passa zakończy się wcześniej lub będzie łatwiej ją naprawić, ale innym razem zajmie to więcej czasu. Ja się nie poddam. Chcę tu być – powiedział Guardiola na konferencji prasowej.

Manchester City jutro (niedziela, 29.12) zagra przeciwko Leicester. Początek meczu o 15:30 (MŁ)
