„France Football” – Messi najlepiej zarabiającym piłkarzem w 2010 roku

Prestiżowy francuski magazyn, „France Football” przygotował listę 20 najlepiej zarabiających piłkarzy w 2010 roku. „Czyżby zaczęła się era młodych, zdolnych i świetnie zarabiających piłkarzy?” – zastanawiają się redaktorzy, gdyż żaden z zawodników z czołowej trójki nie przekroczył 27 lat.

Na pierwszym miejscu znalazł się gwiazdor Barcelony, Lionel Messi, który w poprzednim roku zarobił 31 milionów euro, jednak tylko 10 milionów stanowi jego pensja w „Blaugranie”. Pozostałą cześć stanowią: premie i wpływy z kontraktów sponsorskich.

Drugie miejsce przypadło Christiano Ronaldo z Realu Madryt (27,5 mln euro), zaś trzecią lokatę zajął Wayne Rooney z Manchesteru United (20,7 mln euro). David Beckham, którego sława piłkarska już nieco przygasła nadal znajduje się w pierwszej piątce zestawienia. Piłkarz Los Angeles Galaxy za same kontrakty sponsorskie i wykorzystanie wizerunku zarobił 14,5 miliona euro, zaś jego pensja w klubie to tylko 4,1 mln.
