Premier League: Berbatov uratował Manchester Utd

W meczu 23. kolejki angielskiej Premier League pomiędzy Blackpool a Manchesterem United o mały włos nie doszło do sporej niespodzianki. Jeszcze do 71 minuty spotkania gospodarze prowadzili z niepokonanym zespołem sir Alexa Fergusona 2:0, ale wówczas przebudził się snajper Czerwonych Diabłów, Dimitar Berbatov.

Niespodziewanie po pierwszej połowie spotkania piłkarze Blackpool mieli dwubramkową przewagę nad liderem tabeli ligi angielskiej. W drugiej części gry podopieczni Fergusona wzięli się jednak do odrabiania strat, czego efektem był gol rezerwowego Javiera Hernandeza oraz dwa trafienia, w tym zwycięskie, Dimitara Berbatova. Cały mecz między słupkami bramki Manchesteru United spędził Holender Edwin van der Sar. Tomasza Kuszczaka zabrakło wśród rezerwowych.

W innym wtorkowym spotkaniu Aston Villa pokonała na wyjeździe Wigan 2:1.
