Oficjalnie: Druga drużyna spadła z Premier League. A z nią Polak

33. kolejka Premier League wyłoniła drugiego spadkowicza bieżącego sezonu. Niespodzianki nie ma.

Dwa tygodnie temu bilet powrotny do Championship kupiło Southampton Jana Bednarka. Dziś zrobił to drugi beniaminek, czyli Leicester City Jakuba Stolarczyka.

Lisy przegrały z Liverpoolem i straciły matematyczne szanse na utrzymanie. W 33 meczach zdobyły 18 punktów. Zajmują przedostatnie miejsce w tabeli. Do bezpiecznej strefy tracą 18 oczek.

Leicester rozgrywa beznadziejny sezon. Nie pomogła mu dokonana na przełomie listopada i grudnia zmiana szkoleniowca. Z 22 meczów pod wodzą Ruuda van Nistelrooya wygrało 3, a aż 17 przegrało. Spadło niezwłocznie po awansie.

Liverpool postawił natomiast kolejny krok w kierunku zdobycia mistrzostwa. Może to zrobić już za tydzień, wystarczy, iż pokona Tottenham Hotspur. (MS)
