Nowy trener Jana Bednarka. Dziś ogłoszenie

Southampton zatrudniło nowego szkoleniowca. W niedzielę ma oficjalnie potwierdzić jego tożsamość.

W dobiegającym końca sezonie Świętych prowadziło trzech trenerów – Russell Martin, Ivan Jurić i Simon Rusk. Dwóch pierwszych przyczyniło się do spadku z Premier League, trzeci po prostu dokończył rozgrywki.

O ponowny awans do elity Southampton postara się pod wodzą Willa Stilla. Obowiązujący do 2028 roku kontrakt został już podpisany. Anglik będzie obecny na trybunach St. Mary’s Stadium w trakcie dzisiejszego meczu z Arsenalem. Dziś ma też zostać oficjalnie ogłoszony nowym opiekunem drużyny.

Miniony rok Still spędził w Lens. Wcześniej pracował w Stade Reims. Uchodzi za duży trenerski talent.

Southampton będzie jego pierwszą angielską drużyną w karierze szkoleniowej. (MS)
