Chelsea chce w styczniu sprowadzić 17 letniego ofensywnego pomocnika River Plate. Chodzi o Franco Mastantuono. Ten zawodnik jeszcze w sierpniu obchodził 17 urodziny. W takim wieku ma już 40 występów w seniorskiej drużynie River Plate. Strzelał już i asystował. Ma na koncie 3 gole i 3 asysty. Jednego gola strzelił nawet w międzykrajowych rozgrywkach Copa Libertadores.

W pierwszej drużynie River Plate zadebiutował 28 stycznia 2024 roku w wieku 16 lat, 5 miesięcy i 14 dni. Jest drugim najmłodszym debiutantem River Plate w XXI wieku. Młodszy od niego w momencie debiutu był tylko Mateo Musacchio.

Cheslea jest gotowa zaoferować za Mastantuono 45 mln funtów. Tyle wynosi klauzula wykupu 17 letniego ofensywnego pomocnika.
